  • Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in Mexico and Colombia, ensuring compliance with established controls, procedures, and standards.

  • Ensure full compliance with local payroll tax regulations, including filing of tax returns, remittance of payroll taxes, and adherence to Mexico CFDI and Colombia “Nómina Electrónica” requirements.

  • Review and reconcile payroll data, implementing quality assurance measures to minimize errors and discrepancies in calculations, deductions, and benefits.

  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and accounting teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes across business functions.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly and accurately.

  • Support audits and inspections by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries from auditors or regulatory agencies.

Qualifications & Experience:

Basic Qualifications:
The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or related field.

  • 4-5 years of payroll tax and payroll process experience in multinational companies, specifically in Mexico and/or Colombia.

  • Expertise in Mexico’s CFDI and Colombia’s “Nómina Electrónica.” Proficiency in payroll systems, ERP platforms, and SAP for payroll management.

  • Intermediate to advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Microsoft Excel proficiency at an intermediate to advanced level for data analysis, forecasting, and reconciliation.
