As a Data Developer you will be tasked with developing and maintaining SQL and .NET code for the extracting and loading of data from systems, external or internal, to Pearl’s primary software platform. You will also be responsible for creating the required documentation. This is a mid-level position with individually tailored on-site training.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing existing data structures and developing processes within .NET and SQL to migrate the data. You will also spend time documenting database table structures, troubleshooting SQL database scripts/jobs, and ensuring SQL processes are stable, fine-tuned, and secure
Your Impact:
- Build data migration processes within SQL SSIS and .NET using C#
- Write queries and processes required for data migration and transformation.
- Create database objects such as views, stored procedures and functions as needed using T-SQL.
- Plan and code database tables.
- Work closely with DBAs on SQL job design ensuring optimized SQL performance, security, and timing.
- Ensure the secure storage and movement of sensitive data (i.e. PII or PHI).
- Communicate with team members and business users to resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Monitor SQL jobs and processes health and debug/identify potential issues.
- Perform SQL development tasks as a function of development cycles and system releases.
- Analyze existing databases to document current functionality and data objects.
- Write and maintain documentation to describe database object design and data processes.
- Analyze assigned SQL development tasks and provide feedback on feasibility and time.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related with the following minimum professional experience –
- 2+ years of programming, relational database management systems
- 2+ years of experience with C#, SQL, XML, ETL tools
- Database object programming knowledge with an understanding of common software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
- Strong technical understanding in all the following –
- Database systems and SQL
- Microsoft .NET Framework and C# language
- Problem-solving abilities using critical thinking that applies logic
- Application programming experience a plus.
- Demonstrated ability in all the following –
- Learning technical and functionality concepts quickly with a high level of retention
- Communicating technical and functionality concepts verbally and in writing.
- Organizing and prioritizing workload with multiple projects and deadlines
- Working effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Managing frequent and random changes efficiently
- Capability of consistently delivering a detail-oriented high level of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to interface with both technical and business team members at all levels within an organization.
At One80 Intermediaries, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings, and 10 days of paid time off and 11 paid holidays for eligible employees. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected annual pay range for this position is $64,800 to $70,000 plus discretionary bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
