Job Summary

Are you a student that enjoys assisting with data analysis, research, and project support? In this role you will support Corporate Research, Enterprise Risk Management, and Strategic Project Management by discovering and analyzing data, contributing to research, and providing basic support for project coordination. We are looking for a highly adaptive student who enjoys cross-functional work.

What You’ll Do

1. Conduct research on market trends, economic indicators, and external factors to support business insights and project work.

2. Assist with collecting and organizing data from a variety of sources to support analysis and reporting.

3. Develop reporting tools and dashboards to effectively communicate findings and trends.

4. Work with structured and unstructured data using spreadsheets, databases, and reporting tools to support team projects.

5. Support the team by documenting findings, summarizing insights, and preparing materials that improve understanding of data and project progress.

6. Assist with strategic and enterprise risk management projects by tracking tasks, organizing project information, and supporting follow-up activities.

7. Provide basic project management support by helping schedule meetings, maintain project trackers, organize files, and document action items and next steps.

What We’re Looking For

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, or other related field.

- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or reporting tools.

- Exposure to tools such as Excel, Power BI, or SQL through coursework, academic projects, or prior internship experience is preferred.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain project details, and follow through on assignments.

- Good written and verbal communication skills, along with a willingness to learn, ask questions, and collaborate with others.

Travel

- No travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
