Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven Data Analyst to take ownership of managing, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions and optimize operational performance. The ideal candidate is proficient in tools such as Google Sheets and Power BI, and possesses a solid understanding of data systems, workflow analysis, and reporting best practices.
Ideal Candidate:
Serve as a key link between data and decision-making by turning raw information into meaningful insights, ensuring data integrity, and supporting stakeholders across departments through reliable reporting and visualization.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Management & Analysis:
• Organize, clean, and validate large and complex data sets to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy.
• Maintain and update databases and spreadsheets regularly using Google Sheets with advanced formulas, pivot tables, data validation rules, and conditional formatting.
• Apply bulk data processing techniques to streamline workflows and manage high volumes of data efficiently.
• Conduct data comparisons to detect trends, discrepancies, and outliers across different data sources or reporting periods.
Reporting & Visualization:
• Design and maintain interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI, tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Transform data into actionable business insights by identifying patterns, correlations, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Build custom data models and visualizations that allow stakeholders to make informed strategic and operational decisions.
System Analysis & Collaboration:
• Partner with IT and Operations teams to improve and maintain data systems, ensuring smooth data flow and scalability.
• Assess current data processes, document system requirements, and provide recommendations to enhance data efficiency and automation.
• Ensure continuous data quality monitoring, investigating data integrity issues and implementing long term solutions to prevent recurring problem
Insight Delivery & Strategic Support:
• Interpret and translate data findings into clear business language and present them through written reports, graphs, and live presentations.
• Collaborate with department leads to understand business needs and customize reporting tools accordingly.
• Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and contribute to ongoing strategic planning.

• Strong problem-solving skills with a methodical and logical approach to identifying root causes and solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex findings into actionable recommendations.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence, or similar analytical role.
• Experience working with database systems (e.g., SQL) is a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL processes, APIs, or other data integration methods is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision
Skills Required

- Advanced Google Sheets skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, ARRAYFORMULA, VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, charts, dashboards).
- Proficiency with Power BI, including interactive dashboards, data visualizations, DAX queries, and data modeling.
- Experience organizing, cleaning, validating large datasets and troubleshooting data integrity issues.
- Strong analytical, verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
