Who You Are:
We are seeking a talented and driven Data Analyst to formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decisionmaking, policy formulation, or other managerial functions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and develop decision support software, services, or products. You’ll develop and deliver client-facing dashboards and benchmarking analytics, providing insights into approval rates, fraud, chargebacks, and product efficacy.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the design and rollout of premium Tableau portals and AI-enabled solutions, enhancing client satisfaction and driving revenue opportunities.
  • Partner with account managers and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored analyses, support Quarterly Business Reviews, and provide actionable recommendations that strengthen client relationships.
  • Specialize in fraud and chargeback analytics, building monitoring systems, alerts, and KPI reports to detect risks and improve dispute outcomes.
  • Manage cross-border analyses for compliance, ensuring regulatory adherence while identifying market expansion opportunities.
  • Serve as Tableau team lead—optimizing SQL queries, migrating and maintaining 40+ workbooks in Redshift, and embedding dashboards into Salesforce for real-time insights.
  • Mentor teammates on Tableau best practices, develop custom data sources, and evaluate new AI and Salesforce tools for strategic adoption.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by applying Python and AWS expertise to streamline reporting, automate processes, and ensure data integrity.
  • Stay current on payments industry trends, proactively integrating emerging technologies such as Tableau Pulse, Agentforce, and AI-driven fraud tools to advance analytics capabilities and enhance client value.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial/Data Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
  • 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a data analyst-related occupation

  • Position requires at least some experience in each of the following skills:
    • Utilize knowledge of SQL to write queries to extract, manipulate and analyze large transactions dataset;
    • Utilize knowledge of Data Visualization and Dashboarding to design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau to deliver business insights, with proven ability to translate complex data into actionable visualizations for stakeholders;
    • Utilize knowledge of Python for data cleaning, transformation, and exploratory data analysis;
    • Utilize knowledge of machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, clustering, classification) for business insights, forecasting, or anomaly detection;
    • Utilize knowledge of data pipelines, data integration, and ETL processes to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting datasets;
    • Utilize knowledge of Statistical and Analytical Skills including descriptive statistics, trend analysis, hypothesis testing, and other analytical methods to evaluate data quality and business performance;
    • Utilize knowledge of Fraud Analytics to detect anomalies, identify fraud patterns, and support risk mitigation strategies;
    • Utilize knowledge of Salesforce to analyze activity, manage user experience, implement integrations, and support daily operations;
    • Utilize knowledge of the payments industry or broader financial services sector;
    • Utilize knowledge of Communication and Storytelling with Data to translate analytical findings into clear, concise recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

The base pay for this position is $130,000 - $150,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. This position is located in our Palo Alto, CA HQ.
