Responsibilities
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, reports, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data by reviewing data analysis and BI reports, to locate trends and correct code problems
Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Identify and define process improvement opportunities
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Information Management or related experience
At least 1 year of professional business analytics experience including developing queries, report writing, and data visualization
Experience with reporting packages (Microsoft SSRS, SAP Crystal Reports, etc.) and industry leading BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI
Experience with SQL and RDBMS databases
Programming languages and coding technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, XML, JavaScript
Experience analyzing large datasets from ETL frameworks
Experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc.)
Experience with relational and NoSQL database systems
Preferred
Work experience in the healthcare industry including clinical, financial and operational data
