Join our dynamic and specialised team in a key role that will truly make a difference. As part of this team, you will act as the bridge between raw Engineering data and actionable business intelligence, contributing to one of the largest MS Dynamics 365 rollouts globally. 

You will be embedded within the deployment team, focusing on the integrity, analysis, and visualization of data to ensure an accelerated and successful rollout of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 solution. You will interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and provide the Engineering teams with the insights needed to optimize product structures and configurations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the global transition to D365 is backed by high-quality, validated data. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Data Insight & Trends: Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets using statistical techniques to support D365 deployment. 

  • Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain automated reporting capabilities (Power BI/Excel) to monitor data cleanliness and project progress. 

  • ETL Management: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) Engineering and CPQ data, ensuring seamless flow between legacy systems and D365. 

  • Data Quality Assurance: Define and implement data profiling and cleansing routines to ensure "single version of truth" accuracy through all migration test cycles. 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Present analysis results and data-driven solutions to senior leaders and internal customers to influence project timescales and strategy. 

  • Process Improvement: Locate and define new process improvement opportunities for data collection and management. 

  • Migration Support: Support production cut-over and provide early-life support by resolving data-related discrepancies in real-time. 

Required Skills and Experience: 

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of and experience with databases (SQL, etc.) and programming for data manipulation (Python, R, or ETL frameworks). 

  • Advanced Analytics: Expertise in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT), MS access and data visualization tools like Power BI. 

  • Data Lifecycle Knowledge: Proven experience in data profiling, Master Data Management (MDM), data cleansing, and complex data migrations. 

  • Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to collect, organise, and disseminate significant amounts of information with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify, investigate, and resolve data anomalies within large, complex datasets. 

  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical data findings to a non-technical audience and build relationships across global Engineering teams. 

  • Agility: Comfortable working to tight deadlines and adept at switching priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Experience with databases, including SQL
