About the Role
Our client is a highly respected institutional investment organization that supports mission-driven entities through investment management, portfolio oversight, and investment operations services. They are seeking a Data Analyst to join their Investment Operations and Risk Management team.
The Analyst will report directly to the Director of Investment Operations and Risk Management and collaborate with teams across client accounting, reporting, manager selection, and portfolio management to deliver high-quality investment data and analytics for nonprofit clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Data Ingestion & Validation
Oversee the extraction of alternative investment data, including NAVs and transaction details, from investment documents using internal tools and AI-assisted workflows.
Interpret, classify, and validate extracted data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Identify and resolve exceptions and edge cases in collaboration with vendors and internal teams.
Support ongoing improvements to data workflows to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
Data Quality & System Integration
Maintain mapping and data delivery mechanisms across multiple systems.
Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies related to NAVs, transactions, performance, and other investment data.
Develop expertise in alternative investment performance analytics, particularly within private markets.
Data Operations & Reporting
Maintain liquidity models for alternative investments.
Support liquidity waterfall analysis at both asset class and portfolio levels.
Evaluate prospective data providers to enhance investment data quality and portfolio monitoring capabilities.
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, scalability, and usability for reporting and portfolio management needs.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with investment platforms such as:
Caissa
Solovis
Burgiss
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other business intelligence tools.
Interest in workflow automation and data process optimization.

Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent required.
