The role will report to Transformation Director Location for this position is Stockholm (Sickla) .Hybrid work. We see that hybrid work, where we as employees can work either from home or from the office, creates opportunities to perform and work effectively in virtual and real environments.Purpose of roleYou will be a key player in building up our local Data & AI capabilities within the Transformation Unit. You will lead the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for Data & AI, drive digitalization and automation, and deliver solutions that increase efficiency across our operations.You will be responsible for building a high-performing team of data and AI experts, including recruitment, leadership, and competence development. Together with your team, you will develop data platforms, data lake/lakehouse solutions, analytics, and AI/ML models that support both business operations and customer engagement.Responsibilities of role
- Establish and lead the Data & AI CoE, including strategy, roadmap, and ways of working.
- Take full people leadership responsibility, including recruitment, team management, and building new skills and capabilities within data and AI.
- Build and evolve data platforms, pipelines, and data lake/lakehouse solutions (e.g., Azure, Databricks).
- Drive the development and adoption of AI/ML solutions for decision support, process automation, and customer insights.
- Ensure strong data governance, quality, and compliance (e.g., GDPR).
- Support value streams and other parts of the organisation with data and AI competence and resources.
- Collaborate with global teams and external partners to accelerate development
- A relevant university degree, ideally at master’s level, in data/IT/analytics.
- 7–10+ years of leadership experience in data, analytics, or AI roles.
- A proven track record of building and leading teams, including recruitment and competence development.
- Deep expertise in data architecture, data lake/lakehouse platforms, modern cloud environments (especially Microsoft Azure), and analytics/ML platforms (Databricks).
- Strong experience in operationalising AI/ML models, from prototype to production.
- Experience with GenAI implementations, particularly Conversational AI and agent-based systems, is highly meriting.
- Experience from regulated industries (preferably financial services) is a plus.
- Strong ability to create structure, build collaboration, and communicate effectively across both technical and business stakeholders.
