Job Description

As a Senior Consultant – Data & AI, you will be instrumental in delivering data-driven transformation and AI solutions to our clients. Working closely with senior leadership and clients, you will develop scalable, efficient, and impactful AI and data analytics solutions.

You will be part of a global network of 250+ data professionals across our Centres of Excellence in Paris, Montréal, Brussels, New York, London, Hong Kong, and the Middle East, solving complex data challenges and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Technical Execution

  • Gather and translate business requirements into functional data designs and models that optimise value.
  • Build and maintain scalable, efficient, and best-practice data pipelines, ETLs, and transformations using Azure, Snowflake, AWS, or Oracle.
  • Develop visual reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions using Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, or Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • Implement machine learning and AI models, including predictive analytics, supervised/unsupervised learning, and econometrics.
  • Apply data governance principles, including data quality, master data management, metadata management, and data lineage.
  • Work in agile and traditional project environments, participating in scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Support business development initiatives, including proposal development and RFPs.
  • Collaborate with clients to define AI-driven solutions that provide tangible business value.
  • Contribute to internal capability-building within Sia’s Data & AI practice.

Technical Expertise & Innovation

We seek hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:

  • Data Engineering & Pipelines:
    • Strong SQL skills for data pipelines and modeling.
    • Data transformation tooling such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), FiveTran, Matillion, Oracle Data Integration, AWS Glue, AWS Data Pipeline.
  • Cloud Platforms & Storage:
    • Experience with Azure, Snowflake, AWS, or Oracle data warehousing technologies.
    • Azure services: Synapse, Data Lake, Databricks, Fabric.
  • AI & Machine Learning:
    • Knowledge of Python or similar programming languages for AI and automation.
    • Experience with machine learning, forecasting, and quantitative analytics.
  • Analytics & Business Intelligence:
    • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight, Oracle Analytics Cloud.
  • DevOps & Automation:
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (Azure DevOps preferred).
  • Agile Delivery & Project Management:
    • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar agile tooling.

Collaboration & Development

  • Work closely with managers and senior consultants to deliver client projects successfully.
  • Coach and mentor junior consultants, supporting their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with global Data & AI experts to leverage best practices and cutting-edge solutions.

 

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Data, AI, or Analytics consulting, ideally within a professional services or technology firm.
  • A strong foundation in data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies, with experience in at least one major cloud platform.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, eager to learn, innovate, and drive change.
