About the Role

Sime are seeking a D365 Solution Architect to join their ERP Modernisation team at their head office in South Brisbane. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

What you’ll be doing:

As a D365 Solution Architect at Sime Industrial, you will oversee technical design and configuration activities of D365 and supporting platforms, including the configuration, localisation, and broader enterprise integration as part of our division wide ERP and Dealer Management System modernisation program.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Taking a leading role in the solution design of D365 FO, CE, Power Platform, and Azure with Technology Teams and System Integration partners
  • Translate business requirements into scalable solution designs that meet business needs and are aligned with enterprise standards
  • Define and document transition and future state architectures to support migration planning and execution
  • Provide design guidance related to integrations between D365, the Power Platform, and the wider ecosystem of enterprise systems to ensure enterprise-wide process continuity
  • Provide expert guidance to a multidisciplinary program team, facilitating design workshops and participating in governance reviews
  • Ensure solution quality through strong documentation, testing support, and promotion of best practices in data governance, security, and compliance

What you’ll need:

A successful teammate will have:  

  • Strong experience designing, transitioning and running medium to large Enterprises on D365 FO, CE, Power Platform, and Azure hosted solutions
  • Experience working in large business improvement programs, managing multiple deadlines and co-ordinating activities across multidisciplinary teams
  • Advanced skills across the use of Microsoft portfolio of solutions particularly Dynamics365, Power Platform, Fabric, DevOps and Azure
  • Proven ability to design and communicate solution options clearly, aligning benefits to business needs and influencing stakeholders to act
  • Solid data and analytical skills, including advanced data analysis, reporting, and interpretation to support informed decisionmaking
  • Experience designing and supporting testing activities, including integration, regression, and automated testing, to ensure solution quality
  • Confident stakeholder manager with experience governing business analysis activities, managing expectations, and supporting quality, risk, and change processes
