CYBERSECURITY PROGRAM MANAGER- TRAINING AND EXERCISES

SailPoint’s Cybersecurity organization is searching for a highly motivated Cybersecurity Program Manager to join our team of skilled security professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our training, exercise, and lessons learned programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate on various activities within each program and ensure strategic objectives are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for security, innovation, and problem-solving and the ability to work well within a global remote team

This role reports directly to the Manager of the Program Management Office and is remote.

Responsibilities:
Oversee the security awareness training program to include developing annual learning objectives and coordinating training timing with other training departments.
Coordinate and track internal cybersecurity team training and professional development throughout the year.
Work with in-house content creator to identify training gaps and requirements for custom training content.
Coordinate closely with product security engineers to develop training curriculum for annual secure coding training program
Manage the phishing susceptibility program to include running regular phish tests for the company and reporting metrics to leadership.
Help plan and manage SailPoint’s monthly and annual incident response exercises. Track learning objectives or gaps being addressed in exercises
Collect and validate lessons learned from exercises, training, projects, and any cyber investigations or incidents. Once validated, track closure across various SailPoint departments.
Work closely with governance and compliance teams to make sure training and exercise programs are following industry and compliance framework standards.
Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments and maintain understanding of emerging trends in information security threats and risks and how they relate to our training and exercise programs.
Requirements:
Experienced program manager (3-4 years)
Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time independently while handling multiple projects concurrently.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; ability to multi-task, change direction, effectively prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and comfortable communicating with company executives. C1 or better English Fluency
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, in leading or contributing to multi-functional teams.
Innovative and efficiency focused with the ability to formalize program governance, processes, report templates, and metrics.
Preferred:
Background in training/education, exercises, or cybersecurity
Familiarity with applications like Jira and Confluence
