Cyber Risk & Compliance Manager

What You'll Do
In a nutshell, you'll be making sure that our vendors and partners are in compliance with cybersecurity processes in order to mitigate risk and protect our company's information. You'll also work with business leaders to ensure that risks are reviewed, and solutions are implemented. Here's a closer look at your responsibilities:

  • Conducting risk assessments of third-party services and partner organizations to determine the effectiveness of their cybersecurity controls.
  • Reviewing evidence provided by third-party suppliers to determine the maturity and effectiveness of their controls (e.g. audit reports, PEN test results, policies, standards, procedures, etc.).
  • Interviewing key third-party supplier personnel, either in-person or virtually.
  • Identifying strengths and weaknesses within vendors' cybersecurity programs, documenting results and presenting information to key stakeholders.
  • Negotiating cybersecurity contractual obligations with vendors to ensure applicable security considerations are included within vendor agreements.
  • Researching laws, regulations, industry standards and customer/vendor contract to communicate compliance requirements.
  • Documenting, investigating and reporting compliance issues and incidents.


Who You Are
You're a competent professional with excellent critical thinking skills, and you're able to clearly summarize complex problems.
Minimum :

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 6 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 4 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; OR 10 years' experience in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks, such as SSAE 16 SOC 1, 2, and 3; ISO 27001 and PCI standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • CISSP or CISM certifications or equivalent industry certifications.


Preferred :

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry or in professional consulting.
