Optimiza is seeking a dedicated Cyber Security Analyst to join our dynamic cybersecurity team. In this role, you will play a vital part in protecting our organization from cyber threats by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security alerts and incidents to quickly identify and address potential breaches.
- Conduct thorough investigations of security incidents, analyzing logs and other data sources.
- Implement and maintain security tools and technologies to enhance our security posture.
- Develop and conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in our systems.
- Collaborate with IT and other teams to ensure compliance with security policies and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies.
- Prepare reports on security incidents and offer recommendations for improvement.
- Provide support during security audits and assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with a focus on threat detection and incident response.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, tools, and protocols (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, SIEM).
- Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey complex information clearly.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are a plus.
