Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
You will work as IS Solution Architect for Digital Workplace and will be reporting to the Global IS Consumer Experience Architecture Manager. You will be ensuring that the Digital Workplace solutions are in line with enterprise and data architecture standards. You will be responsible for the designing and building, integrity and quality of an IS solution and of associated IS services delivered to Business. You will also be ensuring that the IS solution/service provides the required functionality and meeting the expectations of business and are reliable, maintainable, compliant and auditable. You will also be managing software and digital workplace solution, analyzing data to continually improve Consumer Experience solutions along with contributing to project setup and delivery as well as to service operations optimization.
This role is contributing to the IS Services globally.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Designing, approving, and signing off CX products and services to be implemented on ABB Production environment, ensuring that services meet business requirements and performance KPIs relating to digital workplace, collaboration and emerging and digital technologies.
- Defining the technical IS solution, ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units.
- Keeping knowledge up to date regarding new and emerging IS technology and industry practices, bringing learning into ABB, all within in the scope of the relevant IS solutions.
- Contributing to IS Problem and Incident Management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these and proactively supporting issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service.
- Acting in compliance with Corporate IS Regulation and IS Policies with ABB Regulations and Guidelines of which accountability and responsibility for this position are derived and with any other Internal Control regulations that may be assigned.
- Guiding IS service delivery unit team and IS project management in how to utilize IS application/solution standards effectively and communicating project delivery related decision demand towards project and service management for ensuring resolution and avoid delivery issues.
- Providing leadership to temporary work teams, guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advising normally without carrying line responsibility.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor’s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering, or similar, Master’s degree preferred
- More than 3 years of relevant experience in IS with a focus on Service Design
- More than 2 years of experience in roles related to Architecture and Enterprise Management Software
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
