Role Overview:
This position will play a key role in supporting Group Benefit Solutions (GBS) product vision and Long-term Care (LTC) multi-year growth plan. The role will be responsible for leading efforts that support LTC product growth and being consulted for product-level details to unlock existing client product additions and/or on product details to support.
The LTC Product Consultant will be responsible for leading efforts that enable product growth during pre-sale activities, the sales process and implementation of the LTC GBS Multi-Life product by serving as the subject matter expert on product-level details to unlock existing client product expansion and new sales growth.
The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge of the Group Benefits market, including Life, AD&D, Permanent Life with LTC rider and/or Long-Term Care, and Voluntary Benefits, with demonstrated experience working cross-functionally, leveraging data and market intelligence, and positioning capabilities that competitiveness and customer outcomes.
What You'll Do:
• Drive pre-sale and late-stage sales efforts in partnership with Distribution for GBS clients seeking LTC Multi-Life, while serving as the LTC product expert in client and broker discussions.
• Collaborate closely with product, sales representatives, account executives, brokers, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate a seamless transition of employer opportunities from the prospecting phase through onboarding and enrollment readiness.
• Set expectations with client on required onboarding inputs and timelines (census quality, residence-state impacts, enrollment window readiness).
• Lead client-facing positioning of plan options and ensure selections align with state/product rules and licensing requirements.
• Coordinate broker/channel readiness for outreach, partnering with product and marketing where needed.
• Serve as escalation point for client questions that impact enrollment design.
• Proactively identify likely early adopter and target clients and provide employer profile inputs that influence strategy.
• Reinforce plan design and process best practices.
• Manage efforts with the Onboarding Specialist to verify client readiness, quickly resolve readiness needs, and oversee LTC efforts to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation.

• HIPAA training required.
• This role requires active LTC producer licensing and appropriate LTC CE credentials if engaging in product-specific discussions that constitute solicitation by state.
Pay Transparency
Salary range: $119,000 - $175,000 (New York City, Philadelphia) // $119,000 -$155,000 (Chattanooga, Iowa)
Overtime eligible: Exempt
Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes
Sales bonus eligible: No
Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
