The Customer Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of telecommunications projects, ensuring successful execution of customer commitments, contractual obligations, project milestones, and operational KPIs. The role serves as the primary interface between customers, vendors, contractors, and internal delivery teams, driving project performance, governance, and stakeholder engagement across network rollout, modernization, and operational projects.
The role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within scope, budget, and quality standards, while aligning with customer commitments and Ericsson delivery frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage telecom projects including MCMC, Enterprise Business (EB), BAU, NIC, Network Rollout, Migration, and Infrastructure projects.
- Own project delivery, ensuring achievement of monthly KPIs, project milestones, and customer targets.
- Manage project scope, schedule, risks, issues, budget, and resource allocation.
- Establish strong customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact for project governance.
- Drive vendor and contractor performance to ensure compliance with project requirements and delivery commitments.
- Lead project reviews, recovery plans, and escalation management for critical issues.
- Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive updates.
- Participate in customer governance forums, steering committee meetings, and operational reviews.
- Represent Ericsson in customer, regulatory, and stakeholder meetings including MCMC and state-level governance forums.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed timelines and quality standards.
