What We Do
Nextdoor is where neighborhoods happen — and connections are made. Nextdoor connects neighbors to each other — and to everything nearby: Local businesses, services, news updates, recommendations and stuff for sale from the people down the block. Building connections in the real world is a universal human need. That truth, and the reality that neighborhoods are among the most important communities in our lives, have been guiding principles for Nextdoor since the beginning. Neighbors around the world rely on Nextdoor to: - Recommend and discover local restaurants and shops - Buy and sell gently used furniture and other goods - Spread the word about a lost or found (!) pet - Help neighbors with grocery runs or pharmacy pickups - Meet neighbors over a cup of coffee or organize a walking group - Stay up on the latest safety news from local public agencies
