What will you bring?
We’re looking for an early-career marketing professional to join our Growth Marketing team at Unum UK. This role is ideal for a recent graduate (ideally with a relevant placement) or someone with around 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing role. We welcome candidates from a range of backgrounds, particularly those with hands-on experience in email marketing, campaign delivery, or marketing automation.
As a Customer Engagement Executive, you’ll support the delivery of targeted B2B campaigns, helping us reach brokers and customers with personalised, digital-first content that drives engagement and key commercial outcomes. This is a great opportunity to build your skills in campaign execution and data-driven engagement, while playing a central role in marketing initiatives that directly fuel business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the creation and optimisation of automated nurture journeys and contact strategies to engage brokers and customers
- Assist in delivering personalised digital campaigns across email, social, and other channels in line with account based marketing (ABM) strategies
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and suggest improvements to increase engagement and conversion
- Contribute ideas for testing new approaches, tools, and ways of working to improve campaign effectiveness
- Work with the Digital Marketing team to keep content up to date and enhance the user experience
Key Skills & Experience:
- A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, ideally including a placement year or 1–2 years’ experience in a digital marketing, CRM, or campaign role
- Basic understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and customer journeys (academic or practical experience considered)
- Strong communication skills, with good attention to detail and organisation
- Exposure to marketing tools such as CRM or automation platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) and analytics tools like GA4
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, test ideas, and develop new skills
- Comfortable working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders
