Main Job Purpose: 

The Customer Development Executive will be responsible in growing his/her assigned territory.  Expanding UFS reach by developing new accounts and increasing product penetration through new product introduction. The role will manage existing business ensuring no fall out account and consistent growth by increasing product usage.  

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be: 

Business Building 

  • The achievement of the agreed Sales Budgets in terms of sales volume and or sales value. 
  • Monitor pricing & ensure application of correct prices at point-of-sale 
  • Implement standard of UFS selling skill and chefmanship skill 

Availability 

  • Plan the routing to maximize time spent at point-of-sale 
  • Check and act immediately on Out of Stock Check assortment and act on availability of our brands

Visibility & Promotion 

  • Ensure shelf space in line with planograms Introduce innovations within the set timeframe and maximize visibility 
  • Ensure qualitative in-store presence of our brands Negotiate local actions in line with company policies 
  • Sell in promotions and negotiate best available promo locations 
  • Implement the national key account agreements and report on the gaps per POS 

Grip 

  • Targeting the right operator: Able to identify size of opportunity of operator 
  • Creating demand: Introducing our products with operator through recipes & menu 
  • Sustaining demand: ensuring repeat purchase of our products by operator 
  • Introducing new products (selling more) into the recipes & menu of operator based on operator’s needs 
  • Maintain customers by doing regular visit and to develop territory and individual account plans 
  • Arrange and implement demonstrations (personal/group) to further capitalize on the opportunities for Food solutions range presented by this activity. 
  • Check and act immediately on Out of Stock 

Grow 

  • Growing the number of uses & applications of UFS products through chefmanship skill & help the operator to build a bigger repertoire of dishes 
  • Able to use marketing & merchandising support in line with operator needs 

Experiences & Qualifications 
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED 

  • Bachelor’s/College Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce, HRM or equivalent 
  • Has passion for food & preferably has cooking skills 
  • Willing to be assigned in different locations and will do field work
