Job Description:

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation’s largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology practices, is seeking a Part-Time CT Scan Technologist for our Fifth Avenue office.

Hourly: $28.50-$30.50/hour

The CT Scan Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography (CT) exams of the sinus and temporal bone under physician orders. This role ensures accurate image acquisition, patient safety, and adherence to radiation safety standards while supporting efficient workflow and positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT examinations per physician order and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients, explain procedures, and ensure comfort and safety
  • Operate CT equipment and adjust technical factors to optimize image quality
  • Review images for accuracy and completeness; repeat scans when necessary
  • Maintain patient records, imaging logs, and documentation in EMR systems
  • Perform daily equipment checks and participate in quality assurance activities
  • Follow all radiation safety, infection control, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements
  • Clean and maintain imaging equipment and exam rooms
  • Collaborate with physicians and radiologists to support timely diagnosis

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program; ARRT (R) required, CT certification preferred
  • Active state licensure (if applicable) and CPR certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging principles, anatomy, positioning, and radiation safety (ALARA)
  • Proficiency with CT systems, PACS, and EMR platforms
  • Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent patient care, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • Commitment to safety, compliance, and patient confidentiality

Schedule

  • Monday: 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Tuesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Wednesday: 8:30am-5:00pm
