Crossover MCU Business Lead (f/m/d)

Crossover-Line MCU is the highest performance microcontrollers to provide MPU like performance and feature sets with MCU architecture. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Crossover-Line MCU Business Lead to drive the strategy, growth, and profitability of our high-performance Crossover-Line MCU portfolio. This role will own the business direction of a rapidly expanding product line focused on industrial automation, robotics, edge AI, graphics/HMI, motor control, and next-generation embedded computing applications. 

The successful candidate will combine strong semiconductor product management expertise with business leadership capabilities to define winning product strategies, identify new market opportunities, and drive sustainable revenue growth. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, sales, regional product marketing, application engineers, operations, and executive leadership teams globally. 

Key Responsibilities 

Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap 

• Define and execute the long-term Crossover-Line MCU portfolio strategy. 

• Develop product roadmap plans aligned with customer requirements, market trends, and competitive positioning. 

• Identify portfolio gaps and drive new product planning initiatives. 

• Lead market expansion strategies in industrial, IoT, AI, robotics, graphics, and emerging edge-computing segments. 

• Ensure alignment between product investments and business growth objectives. 

Market & Customer Leadership 

• Understand market dynamics, customer challenges, and emerging technology trends. 

• Collect, analyze, and prioritize customer and market requirements for the product line. 

• Engage directly with strategic customers and ecosystem partners to define future product needs. 

• Drive win/loss analysis and competitive intelligence activities. 

• Build business cases for new product introductions and strategic investments. 

Business Ownership 

• Own product-line business performance and financial results. 

• Manage product line revenue growth, D-In targets, profitability, and resource allocation. 

• Support pricing strategy and portfolio optimization decisions. 

• Drive operational reviews and business performance tracking. 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

• Lead collaboration across Regional Product Marketing, Product Management, Product Definers, Engineering, Applications Engineers, Sales/FAEs, Operations, and Finance. 

• Drive alignment between roadmap priorities and customer commitments. 

• Support successful execution of NPP/NPI activities and key development milestones. 

• Guide supply allocation and business continuity decisions. 

Strategic Market Expansion 

• Build growth plans for Industrial Automation, Robotics, AI-enabled Edge Systems, HMI/Graphics, and High-Performance Control applications. 

• Develop strategies to increase market share against key competitors such as STM32, i.MX RT, and PSoC Edge solutions. 

• Establish partnerships and ecosystem initiatives that strengthen portfolio competitiveness. 

Education 

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Business, or related field. 

• MBA preferred. 

Experience 

• 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience. 

• 5+ years in product management, product marketing, business management, or portfolio leadership. 

• Experience with microcontrollers, processors, embedded systems, or industrial semiconductor markets. 

• Demonstrated ownership of product strategy, roadmap planning, or P&L management. 

Technical Knowledge 

• Strong understanding of MCU architectures, embedded software ecosystems, and industrial/IoT applications. 

• Familiarity with AI/ML at the edge, motor control, industrial networking, graphics, or HMI technologies is highly desirable. 

• Understanding of semiconductor product development lifecycles and NPI processes. 

Leadership Skills 

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen. 

• Excellent communication and executive presentation capabilities. 

• Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional global teams without direct authority. 

• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills. 

• Ability to work effectively with customers, partners, and senior leadership. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience managing a global semiconductor product portfolio. 

• Direct customer-facing experience with industrial automation, robotics, factory automation, or edge AI customers. 

• Experience with High-end MCUs such as multicore MCU combined with AI accelerators and/or graphics capabilities, competitors and ecosystems. 

• International business experience, particularly in Europe, North America, or in Asia.
