About the Role
The Credit & Invoice Supply Manager builds, manages, and grows a high-quality pipeline of invoice financing opportunities — sourcing qualified businesses, assessing creditworthiness, onboarding viable clients, managing lender and partner relationships, and ensuring sustainable portfolio growth and risk control.
The role is the key link between businesses, internal credit teams, financiers, banks, and operational stakeholders, ensuring credit opportunities are originated, evaluated, processed, and managed in line with business objectives and risk appetite.
It is expected to build a strong portfolio of qualified borrowers and financing opportunities while contributing to commercial growth, operational discipline, and market credibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for sourcing creditworthy businesses needing invoice financing, asset financing, and short-term working capital.
- Identify, approach, and recruit SMEs, distributors, suppliers, contractors, and service providers with viable financing needs.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified financing opportunities across multiple industries and segments.
- Conduct initial assessments covering business profile, financing need, invoice quality, and repayment ability.
- Lead client outreach, onboarding, and documentation collection, ensuring accurate KYC, financial records, and compliance.
- Work with internal credit, risk, legal, and operations teams to assess financing opportunities and structure solutions.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, contracts, and bank statements, and prepare credit notes, deal summaries, and recommendations.
- Highlight key credit risks and mitigation measures, and support handover of approved deals for disbursement.
- Manage relationships with onboarded borrowers and clients, serving as the primary point of contact for support and follow-up.
- Identify opportunities for repeat transactions, cross-sell, and portfolio growth, and monitor timely submission of invoices and repayments.
- Build and maintain relationships with banks, financiers, and institutional partners to improve access to financing and deal flow.
- Coordinate with partners on referrals, underwriting requirements, and portfolio growth within approved limits.
- Monitor pipeline conversion from lead to disbursement and repeat business, and track deal quality.
- Support early-warning monitoring for repayment issues, escalate high-risk accounts, and assist collections and recovery efforts.
- Monitor trends in SME lending and invoice financing, and produce periodic reports on sourcing, onboarding, and portfolio performance.
