As Park Bank’s next Credit Analyst, you have an educational background in business, and some finance and or banking experience. Ambition, attention to detail and effective communication are your strong suits. You are passionate about being part of a successful team which has a positive impact on the community. As a Credit Analyst, you will conduct thorough research to assess various aspects of creditworthiness for new clients. This includes evaluating the character, capacity, capital, collateral, and conditions related to each request. Effectively researching and communicating your viewpoint will come naturally to you, as your authentic desire to learn about our clients and understand each client relationship is important to you. You have an eye for key factors which typically indicate whether financial success of a loan is likely, and you are able to discuss these items with candor and understanding. You are interested in the economic factors that affect us at the national level and especially in our local market. Requirements
Essential Functions & Duties
· Ability to work on a full-time basis, Monday-Friday
· Develop and present credit information for use by lending officers or committees in making lending decisions on new loans and loan renewals
· Offer opinions and present facts regarding credit worthiness
· Prepare and analyze financial statement spreads and other related financial documents
· Create Loan Committee and Board presentations for loan approval
· Monitor files to assure up-to-date financial statements, accounts receivable, and other items are available
· Determine the need for more thorough investigation of additional information; contact appropriate sources for such information
· Identify loan exceptions and areas to improve the completeness of credit and collateral files
· Review developing problems and keep loan officers and management informed
· Research industry specific information from outside sources
· Monitor partial releases, remaining loan balance and collateral position for real estate development related loans
· Review and update all credit, loan and collateral files to ensure that information is current, reporting any difficulties to the loan officers
· Provide administrative assistance for originating and servicing commercial loans
· Close loan renewals and assisting lenders with new loan closings
· Manage exception lists and request information from client or loan officer
· Assist and provide back-up support to the Business Bankers
· Review loan requests; order credit reports, requests for title and lien searches; ordering appraisals, surveys, and title insurance commitments
· Provide basic technical guidance to loan officers as needed
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
· Associate degree or post-secondary classes/degree
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Analyst and/or business finance role; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Education and Experience
· Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field

Skills Required
- Associate degree or post-secondary classes/degree
- Minimum 2 years' experience in analyst and/or business finance role (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

- Experience preparing and analyzing financial statement spreads and related financial documents
