Job DescriptionThe Creator Strategy Manager is responsible for designing, orchestrating, and executing innovative global strategies and programs with content creators to attract and connect with our audiences and communities worldwide, support player diverse interest and sustain their engagement with Ubisoft brands. Leveraging both earned and paid creator collaborations, they drive player acquisition, engagement, advocacy, and retention across the full game lifecycle.
As a creator marketing subject matter expert, they serve as a strategic advisor and key liaison for internal stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and ensuring creator initiatives align with business priorities, global marketing objectives, audience needs and platform best practices
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning
Drive the strategic development of global creator strategies for Ubisoft brands, including creator activations, earned advocacy and sponsored partnerships, and while supporting creator community needs and business objectives.
Shape the creator journey throughout the entire game lifecycle—from announcement and launch through live operations and post-launch support—to drive player acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Gather and provide strategic insights on audience behavior, creator ecosystem trends, platform evolution, competitive activity, and campaign performance to inform marketing and production decisions.
Ensure creator strategies are culturally relevant, platform-native, and authentic to each creator community, adapting campaign approaches to audience expectations, content formats, tone of voice, and platform behaviors.
Identify, evaluate, and pursue new creator marketing capabilities, technologies, and opportunities that can deliver strategic breakthroughs.
Champion best practices for creator engagement and influence creator considerations throughout development and go-to-market planning.
Communication & Collaboration
Serve as a key strategic partner to internal teams and external agencies to develop and coordinate creator activities, programs, and campaigns.
Collaborate closely with Global Publishing teams, including Community Development, Communications, Social Media, Media, CRM, and Data & Insights, to ensure cohesive creator strategies and integrated execution.
Partner with Hub Managers and regional teams to develop creator programs that resonate with diverse local creator ecosystems while maintaining global consistency.
Influence stakeholders at all levels through clear recommendations, data-driven insights, and strategic guidance.
Operations Management
Lead and continuously evolve creator engagement programs, including the Ubisoft Creators Program, ensuring a compelling and scalable creator experience.
Drive cross-functional coordination with Production, Brand, Community Development, Communications, Media, and regional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
Plan and deliver high-impact creator activations, experiences, and events in partnership with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
Manage day-to-day campaign budget execution, including allocation to Engagement Hubs, strict spend monitoring, agency/vendor coordination, and proactive escalation of risks to prevent overspend
Ensure operational excellence by setting clear workflows, timelines, budget follow-up, decision checkpoints, and collaboration routines ensuring smooth execution across internal stakeholders.
Insights & Reporting
Partner with Data & Insights and Marketing Analytics teams to define campaign KPIs, performance benchmarks, establish success metrics, and measure the impacts and ROI of creator programs and initiatives.
Lead ongoing creator listening through feedback initiatives, surveys, workshops, community conversations, and creator sentiment analysis to better understand creator needs, expectations, pain points, and opportunities for stronger collaboration.
Use performance data, creator sentiment, and audience signals to recommend optimizations throughout the campaign, adjusting tactics in alignment with Brand, Analytics, and leadership guidance
Develop comprehensive post-campaign reporting and actionable recommendations to inform future strategies and educate stakeholders.
Monitor industry benchmarks and emerging trends to continuously improve creator marketing performance.
Qualifications
You have a proven track record of developing, presenting, and executing successful creator marketing campaigns with an integrated approach to the global creator ecosystem.
You have demonstrated success in fast-paced, international environments and possess strong project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lead complex initiatives from strategy through execution. You are a trusted expert capable of influencing both internal and external stakeholders with credibility, diplomacy, and business acumen.
Skills & Experience
Significant experience working with content creators, influencers, or creator marketing programs at a regional and/or global level.
Strong understanding of the creator economy and major platforms, including Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Discord, and emerging social channels.
Ability to translate platform best practices, creator feedback, audience signals, and cultural trends into authentic, relevant creator strategies and content recommendations.
Experience developing creator strategies that support brand growth, audience engagement, and business objectives.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and teams.
Experience working with external agencies, talent representatives, and vendor partners.
Experience managing budgets and measuring performance against defined KPIs.
