The RoleWe're looking for a Creative Project Manager to join our Product Development team, reporting to the VP of Product & Assortment Strategy. This is a full-time contractor role, US-based and remote, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM PST.
You'll be the link between Creative and Product Development. You'll own the artwork and photography workflow from the first brief to the final file. And you'll make sure our photo assets always match what's really on the shelf.
What You'll Do- Check every creative brief before work starts. Make sure it has images, copy, specs, and dieline details. Stop incomplete briefs before they slow down the team.
- Own the priority queue for the Creative team. Balance requests from Product Development, Marketing, and other teams so no designer has to guess what's next.
- Track every packaging artwork project from start to finish. Always know its status. Push it forward yourself.
- Be the source of truth for both teams. Share updates early. Clear up confusion before it becomes a delay.
- Coordinate photography samples with the office manager, so samples are never missing or late for a shoot.
- Keep Asana accurate and complete for every active project. Build timelines that match Product Development schedules.
- Spot and fix workflow problems. Bring ideas that save the team time.
- Watch for photo assets that no longer match the real product — a label change, a material swap, a formula update. Catch it first, and manage the fix from request to delivery.
- A knack for turning a messy project into a clear one. You ask the right questions before work starts, not after.
- Backbone. You push back on unrealistic timelines or incomplete briefs, and you find a workable path.
- Comfort translating between two teams with different rhythms and priorities.
- A proactive style. You chase the next step. You don't wait to be asked.
- Rigor with Asana as the single source of truth for your team.
- A talent for building relationships across departments.
- Comfort using AI tools day to day — drafting briefs, summarizing feedback, building templates.
- A "whatever it takes" attitude. If a sample needs tracking down or a task needs updating, you do it.
- Real pride in the work. A packaging error isn't someone else's problem — it's yours to prevent.
