Ibotta is seeking a Creative Director to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. As Creative Director, you will shape how the world sees Ibotta as a leading technology company, elevating our look and feel across all enterprise marketing and communications while ensuring on-time delivery and efficient operations.

You will lead our creative studio to develop distinctive brand assets and impactful campaigns that build Ibotta's awareness and grow advertising revenue in the CPG industry. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, creative excellence, and team leadership to drive our brand's impact and growth. This leader will be expected to have proficiency in design, copywriting, or video production, and will be asked to roll up their sleeves as a practitioner to guide execution and help the team produce exceptional work.

 

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

  • Build corporate brand identity and creative guidelines for Ibotta to show up visually and experientially across every touchpoint with distinction.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of creative professionals across design and production, fostering a culture of proven concept, craft, and collaboration while ensuring consistent creative execution.

  • Partner closely with product, analytics, marketing, and leadership teams to drive brand consistency and elevate Ibotta's market presence.

  • Help translate complex product offerings, data, and value propositions into clean, engaging creative concepts.

  • Establish and optimize operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability of creative output.

  • Lead creative reviews, provide actionable feedback, and foster a culture of craft, curiosity, and innovation.

  • Serve as a key brand ambassador internally and externally, articulating creative vision and strategy clearly across all levels of the organization.

  • Manage team health, resource planning, and talent strategy, ensuring the right capabilities, skills, and staffing are in place to meet business needs.

What we are looking for:

  • 8+ years of experience as a hands-on creative with a proven track record across diverse media (agency and in-house). In-house experience is strongly preferred.

  • 4+ years of experience leading creative teams in dynamic, fast-growing companies, ideally with a B2B / tech focus.

  • A portfolio or sample of work demonstrating excellence in creative direction, brand identity, and multi-channel campaign execution.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of influencing cross-functional teams and building strong partnerships across the business.

  • Proven track record developing and executing creative strategies that drive measurable business impact.

  • Deep expertise across multi-disciplinary creative work with a love for craft and storytelling.

  • Proven understanding of multi-channel marketing strategy and how to tie creative initiatives to business goals.

  • Confidence in establishing and scaling creative operations and processes in fast-growing environments.

  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and driving brand transformation in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Additional details:

  • This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and 401k match. Denver office perks include paid parking, snacks, and occasional meals.

  • Base compensation range: $145,000 - $170,000. Equity is included in overall compensation package. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
