We are currently looking for an experienced Course Development Specialist who will closely collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to develop online courses, microlearning modules, and assessments tailored to meet business and compliance needs.
As a Course Development Specialist you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and interactive e-learning courses. This role involves creating high-quality digital learning experiences, incorporating instructional design best practices, and ensuring alignment with organizational training objectives.
If you are not already located in Cyprus, relocation to Cyprus is a requirement for this role.
You will:- Design and develop interactive e-learning courses, simulations, and instructional materials using modern instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Upload, test, and manage courses within the Learning Management System and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Monitor course effectiveness using data analytics, learner feedback, and LMS reports to enhance learning experiences.
- Work closely with SMEs, trainers, and stakeholders to gather content, validate information, and ensure courses meet learning objectives.
- Proficiency in course authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, or similar)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in courses development, instructional design or a related role.
- Familiarity with the basics of UI/UX and visual design concepts.
- Experience in multimedia creation: video/animation editing tools and graphic design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, Figma)
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and industry standards (xAPI, cmi5, SCORM)
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or JavaScript for e-learning customization and experience in developing custom mechanics for online courses will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of AI-driven learning technologies and tools (for image generation, programming code review if needed, or even working with GPT agents to integrate with exercises) will be considered an advantage.
- Creative thinking: knows how to find new, extraordinary solutions to problems.
- Ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Ability to work with a high load of information and be able to explain complex things in simple words.
- Accountability and great desire to develop in the field of online learning.
- Spoken and written English language – B2 or higher.
