Invent Consulting Rwanda Limited is a regional technology consulting firm providing enterprise software solutions, digital transformation services, data analytics, project delivery, and technology talent solutions across Africa.
As part of our expansion strategy in Rwanda, we are seeking a dynamic and commercially astute professional to serve as our Country Representative. This role will be responsible for driving market growth, building strategic relationships, identifying business opportunities, and representing Invent Consulting within the Rwandan market.
The successful candidate will act as the face of Invent in Rwanda, engaging senior stakeholders, cultivating partnerships, and supporting the acquisition and growth of client accounts.
Business Development & Market Growth
Develop and execute strategies to grow Invent's presence and market share in Rwanda.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across government, financial services, telecommunications, NGOs, development organizations, and the private sector.
Generate a sustainable pipeline of opportunities and support the conversion of prospects into clients.
Coordinate business development initiatives and contribute to revenue growth targets.
Represent Invent Consulting at client meetings, executive engagements, networking events, conferences, and industry forums.
Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, partners, and key stakeholders.
Conduct market research and provide insights on emerging opportunities, industry trends, and competitive developments.
Support proposal preparation, presentations, and client negotiations.
Serve as Invent's primary point of contact in Rwanda.
Coordinate local client engagements and support project delivery activities.
Facilitate communication between clients and the Kenya-based delivery teams.
Provide monthly reports on business development activities, opportunities, client engagements, and market developments.
Promote Invent's brand and strengthen its visibility within the Rwandan business ecosystem.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Communications, Information Technology, International Relations, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Business Development, Client Relationship Management, Partnerships, Corporate Sales, Consulting, or Account Management.
Demonstrated experience engaging senior executives and decision-makers.
Proven track record in identifying and securing business opportunities.
Strong understanding of the Rwandan business environment and stakeholder landscape.
Excellent networking, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and deliver measurable results.
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of Kinyarwanda and/or French will be an added advantage.
