Reporting to the Regional Director, South Pacific, you will be responsible for all Rockwell Automation's activities in New Zealand. You plan, direct and control the operations of the local offices to improve Rockwell Automation's presence; to achieve established goals and to assure the long-term growth and viability of the local market. You will also collaborate with function leads to ensure the smooth operations of the other teams including marketing, financial, human resources and logistics activities within New Zealand.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Account Managers and Domain Experts to deliver sales growth and achieve performance goals.
  • Ensure the continuing competitiveness of the Rockwell Automation by preparing short and long-range strategic plans. Analyze current business level against plan and forecast with Business Managers.
  • Partner with Market Access to develop partnership with strategic partners, such as engineering contractors, OEMs, System Integrators, etc. to help grow the business.
  • Develop a strong partnership with local distributor management. Ensure agreement of go-to market strategy and also account coverage to maximise each other's strength in the local market.
  • Lead team to ensure we adopt the Sales Process for the region according to regional practices.
  • Draw support from Domain Expert Technical group to ensure we are delivering the best outcome to customers to meet their goals.
  • Provide inputs on our Pricing strategy to ensure we maintain competitiveness in the market whilst ensuring maximum price realization.
  • Fulfil responsibilities as in charge of the business entity. Work with respective functions to ensure we are compliant with all EHS, employment regulations in geography.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
  • More than 8 years industry sales experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in managing sales team (direct/indirect)
  • Experience growing market share in assigned industry segment/s.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Demonstrated technical acumen and industry experience to coach / mentor team in sales pursuit
  • Ability to engage with senior level executives both internally and externally
