Major responsibilities:
· The Costing supervisor will have responsibility to provide oversight and direction for the plant/operations in APAC
· Work closely with our India SSC center and direct India SSC staff to ensure accurate financials are recorded at plant operating sites and provide oversight & direction for complex financial postings.
· Be expected to primary support regional controlling but with strong connection with regional FP&A team.
· Serve as a business partner to the supply chain organization to drive business KPI′s.
· Day to day activities will be ensuring the region is collectively managing operating cost of goods sold including Product Costing, Plant spend, plant production, plant absorption, outbound freight, warehouse costs, and cost of sales adjustments.
· Collaborate with the internal and external audits.
· Standardize inventory processes, such as inventory write off, physical/cycle count process, initial cost set up, SMOG, 3rd party GIT
· Lead project related to costing, like warehouse adder, freight adder
Successful profile:
· Min. 8 years accounting experience including 3-5 years cost accounting in multinational/manufacturing company.
· SAP / ERP Systems knowledge is required.
· Proficient in use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP material ledger preferred but not required
· Excellent interpersonal skills with outstanding verbal/written communications skills
· Self-starter; motivated to learn and operate independently
· Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility
· Solid analytical, problem identification and resolution skills
· Proficient in English
