About this opportunity:
Join our exceptional team as part of the Center of Excellence (CoE) for Cost Data Management in a junior role that will help you build a solid foundation in finance and cost management. In this position, you will support the accuracy and reliability of cost-related data and contribute to our journey towards continuous digitalization. By providing basic cost analysis support to Line Managers, you will help promote a cost-conscious culture across the organization while learning from experienced finance professionals.
What you will do:
- Support in validating and processing daily requests and inquiries, helping to identify and correct errors, and guiding stakeholders on the compliant usage of cost objects.
- Assist in the management of staff and non-staff cost centers, helping to maintain correct ownership, operational allocation, and compliance with Cost Management work instructions (WI).
- Maintain and update work centers and hourly rates, and support position assignments according to the information model and WI under the guidance of senior team members.
- Provide basic support to Line Managers with organizational cost analysis and simple high-risk transaction queries, escalating complex issues when needed.
- Support the upload of cost budgets and hourly rates for the responsible BA/MA/GF.
- Assist with local allocation cycles and provide first-level support on SAP Roles and Access queries.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Basic experience in finance, accounting, controlling, or a similar area.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.
- Basic experience working with financial data and spreadsheets.
- Basic understanding or strong interest in:
- Financial analysis and cost accounting.
- Accounting and reporting principles.
- Record to Report (R2R) and financial processes.
- Financial directives, policies, and internal controls.
- Strong attention to detail, quality mindset, and willingness to follow standards and work instructions.
- Learning mindset, openness to change, and interest in digital tools and process improvement.
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented attitude when supporting Line Managers and other stakeholders.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
