Synopsis of the role:
The IT Cost Analyst will support the Technology Business Operations team with IT invoice analysis and reporting.
What you’ll do:

IT invoice coding and analysis for non-labour (e.g. telecommunication and cloud costs) and labour expenses (e.g. contractor SOWs)

Use Oracle Financials for:
-
timesheet data analysis & reporting (Projects)
-
creating internal requisitions for purchase orders (iProcurement)
-
creating receipts to trigger payment requests (iProcurement)
-

Expediting approvals or creating new suppliers via support tickets (Procurement, Accounts Payable, Vendor Master Data)
-
In conjunction with the Software Renewals team and IT Leadership coordinate software and hardware maintenance renewals
-
Develop professional working relationships with IT, Finance, Accounting and Procurement to ensure timely accurate flow pertinent information (costs, time tracking report, purchases, etc.)

Find innovative ways to reduce costs and improve procurement processes

Review, standardise and document procedures to improve efficiency

Leveraging Equifax best practises for operational excellence
What experience you need:
-
3 to 5 years experience in a similar role (e.g. administrative support, purchasing, Accounts Payable)

Minimum one year experience using Google Workspace, and advanced skills using spreadsheets (e.g. pivot tables, importrange)

Prior experience using Oracle Financials

Understanding of the lifecycle from quote request to vendor payment (procure-to-pay)

Attention to detail, critical thinking, auditing and investigative skills

Able to work under pressure, prioritise and manage workload to meet deadlines
-
Willingness to learn
