The Core Engineering 

The Core Engineering builds and operates the platforms, applications, data solutions, models, and analytics that power critical processes for The Core divisions of the firm (e.g., Risk, responsible for the risk profile of firm activities; Controllers, responsible for the financial control and reporting obligations; Compliance, responsible for the firm’s compliance, regulatory, and reputational risks; Corporate Treasury, responsible for the firm’s liquidity, funding, balance sheet, etc.; and Human Capital Management, responsible for attracting, developing, and managing a global workforce).   • Metrics & Analytics Platforms: responsible for the measurement and management of the firm’s risk, capital, and liquidity for The Core functions

  • The Core Strats: responsible for the development and implementation of models and other quantitative methodologies, including the accuracy and attribution of modeled metrics

  • Financials & Reporting: responsible for facilitating the production of the firm’s financials and a wide range of reporting functions

  • Non-Financial Risk & Controls: responsible for non-financial risk and control processes

  • Enterprise Platforms: responsible for platforms and applications that support critical operational processes across The Core such as payments, people processes, and procurement

Metrics & Analytics Platforms, within The Core Engineering, is responsible for the measurement and management of the firm’s risk, capital, and liquidity for The Core functions. Within Metrics & Analytics Platforms unit, Limits & Resource Management team owns and builds platforms to support funding and resource management needs for the firm along with enabling prudent risk management through limits and thresholds.

Job Description 

Limits & Resource Management team is looking for world class software engineers to work closely with various divisions across the firm and build the next generation of our enterprise-grade platforms, leveraging cloud-native architectures, robust data modeling, automated analytics, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities 

  • Build Scalable Engines: Architect and optimize high-throughput, reliable data and calculation processes that generate timely and accurate lending metrics to actively manage and mitigate the firm’s risk exposures. 
  • Build Complex Workflows: Engineer highly performant, resilient, and scalable systems that empower business to manage resources and limits seamlessly. 
  • Architect the Future: Lead the blueprint and execution of our next-generation architecture with an AI-driven, cloud-first mindset—ensuring maximum resiliency, scalability, and alignment with the firm’s long-term strategic growth. 
  • Provide Hands-On Technical Leadership: Act as a hands-on technical leader, building deep credibility and trust across regional and global engineering teams while actively unblocking complex platform uplifts and ongoing technical challenges. 
  • Drive Engineering Excellence & Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of engineering excellence, and mentor the next generation of engineering talent to help them reach their full potential. 
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with quantitative engineers, technical leaders across the broader engineering organization, and product managers to define and execute our next-generation architecture. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 7 – 10 years of development experience in enterprise level systems, preferably business critical 
  • Experience in technical leadership across global development teams, including scalable SDLC practices 
  • Experience in cloud architectural design, preferably AWS and multi-region availability 
  • Experience defining and delivering AI-enabled products, platforms, or automated solutions 
  • Experience leading large-scale platform modernization, transformation, or strategic change initiatives across multiple teams and business functions 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
