    • Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint venture (JV) deals, investments, and key partnerships for CSG
    • Long-range strategic planning activities (long-range plan, capital structure, shareholder analysis, and value creation)
    • Supporting business units with their top strategic priorities
    • Cross-functional strategic initiatives
  • We are looking for an Analyst / Associate who can support various activities on the Corporate Strategy team
  • As a core part of the team, you will actively participate in supporting and executing against the long-term strategic direction of the broader organization
  • You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams (finance, accounting, operations, product, HR, etc.) as well as company leadership

Responsibilities:

  • A qualified candidate should have existing experience in some (or all) of the following areas of responsibilities, and will have the opportunity grow their exposure and expertise in the areas below that are net new:
    • Due Diligence: Support the business, financial, and cross-functional components of the due diligence process for deal opportunities across all types of deal structures
    • Deal Execution: Support the negotiations and execution of deal opportunities
    • Long Range Strategic Plan: Support the long-range strategic plan; the long-range strategic plan maps out key capital structure, spend, and value creation decisions for the company
    • Financial Analysis: Take ownership of financial analysis that drives various strategic decisions across the company
    • Pipeline Development: Help maintain the existing deal pipeline and analyze new prospects across all opportunity types and deal types

Qualifications:

  • Education: A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g., Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting)
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and building three-statement financial models
  • Experience: Exposure to M&A due diligence / processes, financial analysis and planning, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Typical backgrounds include investment banking, consulting, private equity, financial / transaction advisory, financial planning / accounting)
  • Looking for 2-5 years of total work experience, with an ability to craft the right position and scope for the new hire

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and additional incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance.

NYC generally ranges: $115,154-$172,730
CA generally ranges: $120,160-$180,240
All other locations fall under our General State range: $100,134-$150,200
