Essential Functions:
- Complete three eight-month rotations that provide hands-on experience in areas such as system operations, market operations, transmission planning, and related engineering support functions.
- Apply engineering principles, analytical methods, and power system concepts to support studies, operational analysis, market analysis, planning activities, and technical problem solving.
- Participate in structured learning and formal mentoring with program leadership, rotational managers, and technical subject matter experts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to support reliable grid operations, effective market administration, and long-term infrastructure planning.
- Receive exposure and support from former Corporate Rotation Program employees, senior and executive leaders through assignments and roundtable discussions.
Characteristics and Qualifications:Required:
- BS, Economics Engineering Electrical Engineering Electrical Power Engineering Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or Operational Research
- Designed for recent or upcoming college graduates; GPA: 3.0 or higher out of 4.0 scale
- Ability to apply electrical engineering concepts, including fundamental power system, circuit, and analytical principles
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
- Ability to perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using engineering judgment
- Ability to learn technical tools, troubleshoot issues, and provide analytical or operational support
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and collaborate across teams
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
Preferred:
- Academic, internship, co-op, research, or project experience in power systems, transmission planning, system operations, energy markets, data analysis, or electric utility operations
- Exposure to power system analysis tools, programming or scripting, data visualization, modeling, or simulation software
- Experience using PSS/e (power system analysis program)
