Role Overview:

Join Maxis as a Corporate Responsibility Intern, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting meaningful corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives that empower communities and drive positive social impact. This role provides exposure to programme delivery, data analysis, volunteer engagement, and creative communications, while working closely with internal teams and partners to support Maxis’ sustainability and social impact agenda.

Key Responsibilities

1. CSR Programme Delivery

• Support the planning and execution of flagship CSR programmes such as eKelas, eKelas Usahawan, and digital learning portals.

• Assist in coordinating activities to ensure smooth and timely programme delivery.

2. CSR Activities & Volunteer Engagement

• Assist with organising CSR initiatives, community outreach programmes, and employee volunteer events.

• Provide coordination and on-ground support to ensure successful execution of activities.

3. Data Analysis & Programme Evaluation

• Analyze CSR programme data to assess effectiveness and impact.

• Identify insights and opportunities to improve programme outcomes and reporting.

4. Social Media & Content Creation

• Create engaging social media content to showcase CSR activities, milestones, and achievements.

• Support storytelling efforts to amplify the impact of CSR initiatives.

5. Communications & Creative Assets

• Design and develop communication materials such as videos, posters, eDMs, presentations, and other collateral.

• Ensure materials are aligned with Maxis’ brand guidelines and CSR messaging.

Value-Added Project

The intern will have the opportunity to contribute to value-added initiatives, including:

• Supporting the planning and delivery of a nation-wide GenAI upskilling programme, and

• Assisting with the upgrade and enhancement of the eKelas learning portal, improving user experience and learning outcomes.

These projects offer exposure to large-scale CSR programmes with national reach and long-term impact.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or similar platforms

• Basic data analysis skills using tools such as Excel

• Proactive, organised, and eager to learn

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
