We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Manager with a strong background in event production/logistics and proven project management expertise to join our Global Events Team. This role is ideal for someone with 4-5 years of experience who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment. You will be responsible for leading end-to-end planning and execution of tradeshows (e.g. CES or IAA), customer events as well as internal conferences (e.g. annual Sales Kickoff), ensuring seamless delivery while driving innovation, operational excellence, and exceptional experiences for our global audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Production: Lead the planning, production, and execution of international in-person, virtual, and hybrid events, ensuring world-class quality across staging, logistics, technical setup, and onsite coordination.
- Project Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; oversee stakeholder alignment and ensure milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Vendor & Budget Management: Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with venues, production companies, AV teams, and other external partners. Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring alignment with sourcing processes and financial targets.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, communications, design, product and business teams to align event strategy with organizational goals.
- Innovation & Improvement: Continuously seek new formats, technologies, and creative approaches to enhance event experiences.
- Onsite Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact during live events, troubleshooting and ensuring smooth execution under pressure.
- Measurement & Reporting: Track event KPIs, collect feedback, and deliver post-event reports with actionable insights for future improvements.
- 4+ years of professional experience in event management, with a strong focus on event production.
- Proven track record in project management with excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and influence stakeholders across hierarchies and departments, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration.
- Experience delivering events across multiple regions and cultures; comfort working in a global, fast-changing environment.
- Strong vendor negotiation skills.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, solve problems quickly, and manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Trello, MS Project) and event technology tools/apps.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
