C.H. Robinson is currently seeking a Corporate Development Manager who will play a central and high‑impact role in identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic growth opportunities for the company. In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and strategic investments, from sourcing and financial modeling through due diligence, transaction execution, and integration planning.
You will partner closely with senior leadership across the company and engage directly with external stakeholders, including bankers, advisors, and potential acquisition targets. You will also contribute to broader strategic initiatives that advance the company’s long‑term growth agenda.

Responsibilities:M&A Strategy & Deal Sourcing
- Identify, research, and evaluate potential acquisition targets and investment opportunities aligned with corporate strategy
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive analyses to support long‑term growth initiatives
- Build and maintain relationships with investment bankers, advisors, and industry contacts to support deal flow
- Develop detailed financial models and valuation analyses
- Assess financial performance, synergies, and deal economics to inform executive decision‑making
- Prepare scenario analyses, sensitivity tests, and investment cases for potential transactions
Due Diligence & Transaction Execution
- Lead and coordinate cross‑functional due‑diligence efforts across Finance, Legal, HR, Technology, Operations, and other internal teams
- Manage data rooms, diligence trackers, documentation, and communication flows with internal stakeholders and external advisors
- Support transaction negotiation processes, including preparing term sheets, board materials, and executive‑level presentations
- Partner with integration leaders to ensure smooth and effective post‑close transitions
Project Management & Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Drive multiple concurrent workstreams with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
- Maintain project plans, timelines, risk tracking, and stakeholder alignment across functions
- Communicate progress, issues, and recommendations to senior leaders with clarity, accuracy, and executive presence
- Partner with business units to evaluate expansion, capability development, and market entry opportunities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
- Minimum of 6 years of finance experience, inclusive of 3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or transaction advisory services
- MBA from an accredited college or university or similar advanced degree preferred
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast changing environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable working under pressure
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights

Compensation Range
$108,900.00 - $183,800.00The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location.
