Why Harvey

At Harvey, we’re transforming how legal and professional services operate. By combining frontier agentic AI, an enterprise-grade platform, and deep domain expertise, we’re reshaping how critical knowledge work gets done for decades to come.

This is a rare chance to help build a generational company at a true inflection point. We have strong product-market fit and world-class investor support. We’re scaling fast and defining a new category in real time. The work is ambitious, the bar is high, and the opportunity for growth — personal, professional, and financial — is unmatched.

Our team moves fast, takes ownership, and is deeply committed to the mission — operating with intensity, staying close to our customers, and pushing each other for excellence. We live by three values: Decisiveness, Simplicity, and Job's Not Finished. We act quickly on clear judgment over perfect information, we believe simplicity is what scales, and we're never satisfied with where we are. If you want to do the best work of your career alongside people who share that drive, we'd love to build with you.

At Harvey, the future of professional services is being written today — and we’re just getting started.

Role Overview

People Operations is taking on more complex, cross-functional program work as Harvey grows globally — from opening new entities and markets, to integrating acquisitions, to evolving the systems and providers that support our employees around the world. These programs span People, Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, and other teams, and need a dedicated owner who can bring the whole thing together.

You’ll run point on these initiatives end-to-end: defining requirements, building the plan, driving decisions and execution across teams, and making sure we’re ready to go live. This is a hands-on program management role — you’ll work closely with functional experts, but you’re expected to get into the substance, develop a point of view, and personally execute work wherever needed to drive the program forward.

What You'll Do

  • Own complex global programs from scope through go-live and handoff, including new entity formation and geographic expansion, M&A integrations, and the ongoing evolution of our infrastructure in existing markets — such as EOR and vendor transitions, payroll migrations, and other major operational changes.

  • Build and drive the program plan, translating a messy objective into clear requirements, workstreams, owners, dependencies, readiness gates, and decisions; proactively surface risks, resolve blockers, and adjust the plan as facts change.

  • Connect the dots across functions. Partner deeply with People Ops, People Systems, Finance, Payroll, Legal, Tax, IT, and other teams to understand how decisions in one workstream affect another and make sure nothing falls between the cracks.

  • Own program communication and change management, from crisp executive updates and decision points to clear, thoughtful communications for employees affected by a change.

  • Build repeatable infrastructure as we scale, turning what we learn from each program into better templates, SOPs, playbooks, and operating processes for the next one.

  • Keep the employee experience at the center. Make sure operational complexity behind the scenes translates into a coordinated, thoughtful experience for employees — particularly during high-change moments like entering a new market, transitioning employment infrastructure, or integrating an acquired team.

What You Have

  • 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs, with experience in global People infrastructure such as geographic expansion, entity formation, M&A integration, or related work.

  • A hands-on operating style and strong bias toward action. You dig into the substance, step into gaps, and do what’s needed to keep complex work moving. You’re comfortable figuring things out as you go and have good judgment about what requires deeper diligence versus what simply needs to get done.

  • Strong stakeholder management and judgment, with the ability to align specialists and senior leaders across functions without formal authority.

  • Clear, direct executive communication. You can distill a complicated program into the decisions, risks, and tradeoffs that matter and communicate them appropriately to everyone from executives to affected employees.

  • Strong AI fluency. You use AI as a core part of how you work — to move faster, synthesize information, work through ambiguity, and increase the quality and leverage of your output.
