The Engagement & Culture Coordinator will assist in enhancing the firm's engagement and culture initiatives as they align under the five branches of the Goodwin Experience (appreciation & recognition, career development, engaging work, inclusive workplace, and well-being). This position will support the Attorney and GO! Team Engagement team and will be key in analyzing attorney and GO! Team data, organizing events, and coordinating communications.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain accurate and timely data related to Engagement program activities and expenses.
  • Draft internal and external communications related to engagement programs and events including, but not limited to program announcements and invitations, intranet summaries, meeting notes.
  • Conduct market research to maintain a strong knowledge of engagement and culture offerings and relevant business trends within the legal industry.
  • Collaborate across departments to develop and execute innovative initiatives to expand the reach and impact of the Goodwin Experience.
  • Provide logistical and coordination support for engagement programs and events, including developing and implementing project plans, marketing collateral, event contracts, survey coordination, program administration, calendar management, room reservations, swag storage and shipping, etc.
  • Monitor, measure, and evaluate the success of the firm's engagement programs and events, routinely sharing findings with activity owners and key stakeholders.
  • Work collaboratively with seasonal co-ops.
  • Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and assist with various ad hoc projects and Firm engagement needs.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years working in a law firm or professional services setting preferred.
  • Ability to respect, protect, and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Excellent computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Comfortable with analyzing and charting program data.
  • Creative, strategic thinker who takes initiative.
  • Clear and effective communicator who exhibits strong oral and written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface effectively, professionally, courteously, and confidently with internal and external clients
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to complete tasks with the appropriate level of direction from others and as part of a team
