The Foundation for California Community Colleges is seeking an individual to join our Career Catalyst program. As an employer-of-record service, Career Catalyst provides human resources and payroll services for work-based learning while partnering with a diverse network of clients. Work experience learning creates opportunities for students to develop, practice, and demonstrate employability skills.
In this role, the Workforce Development Coordinator will facilitate hiring, time tracking, terminations, and payroll processes that enable employees to learn outside the classroom while earning a wage.
What You'll Do:
- Support the day-to-day activities of Career Catalyst employer of record services including but not limited to high-volume client onboarding, offboarding, and I-9 verifications.
- Respond to requests from clients, employees and worksites via email or ticketing system in a professional and timely manner.
- Support Career Catalyst Coordinators in troubleshooting and resolving client and employee issues.
- Provide feedback and inform processes to streamline the tools and services available through the Career Catalyst program.
- Support employees and clients with the recruitment, onboarding, re-hire, and offboarding processes through the completion of assigned tasks and the auditing of employee progress towards completion
- Perform audits for HR related compliance (I-9 documentation, work permits, anti-harassment training, etc.)
Attributes for Success:
- Minimum of two (2) + years of experience in business administration, and/or human resources and program coordination.
- Excellent record in customer service required.
- Familiarity with human resources hiring, payroll, and termination processes required.
- Experience with Salesforce preferred.
- Experience with Workday or comparable HRIS platforms preferred.
- Experience in an education or non-profit environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with the Community College system.

Budgeted Hourly Pay Range:
$23.00 - $25.00Final salary and rates are based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
