Operate and troubleshoot production lines, coach and lead shift members, monitor and adjust process parameters, perform minor maintenance, ensure safety/5S compliance, prepare daily production and quality reports, and coordinate with Maintenance and Quality to minimize downtime.

What you will do:
- Up-to-date CIL & Centerline parameters. 80% of the time spent on the floor (coaching, observing, and troubleshooting).
- Actively participate in DDS (helps to analyze data, formulate actions and set priorities for the day).
- Reviews daily work schedule to allocate tasks and provide work direction to subordinate shift members to ensure agreed lean manufacturing continues improvement system line targets are met.
- Participates as a member of the team in the operation of a complete production line in an allocated plant area to ensure continuous and efficient operations and the meeting of production line targets.
- Monitor system performance and manipulate calibrations and settings to ensure synchronization of line stages, efficient throughput, and minimal waste.
- Troubleshoots the more non-routine defects detected during the process through the recalibration of settings to keep production downtime to a minimum. Escalates the more serious malfunctions to Maintenance and Quality Control.
- Undertakes minor maintenance activities to optimize operating efficiency and prolong asset life and value.
- Acts as a point of technical reference for subordinate shift members to assist in higher-level troubleshooting and pass on expertise as part of on-the-job training.
- Interfaces with Maintenance and Production Accounting for materials supply and coordination of activities.
- Leads IWS "Integrated working systems" meetings with machine operators to provide/receive real-time information on upgrading the machine's conditions.
- Ensures that the workplace is kept in a clean state and that all work is carried out in full compliance with approved occupational. Health and safety procedures and 5S.
- Ensures equipment owners are well presented by taking pride in the company uniform and that they observe personal hygiene standards and behaviors that enhance the company image.
- Ensure to Prepare daily reports, production, and quality product, as per our company system.
- Execute activities related to his/her function in safe and environmentally friendly methods.
- Support the identification process of function related OHS hazards and environmental aspects.
- Ensure a proper level of awareness about OHS hazards and environmental aspects for his \ her Subordinates to ensure having risk free environment in his\ her function (Area).
- Understand and execute his/her pre-identified role in case of emergency.
- Understand the consequences of not committing to OHS and environmental management systems requirements.
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- 3+ years’ experience in the manufacturing sector. Experience in Tissue Manufacturing is an added advantage.
- Strong Coaching & leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of equipment and process in own area.
- Strong knowledge of operating and safety procedures and standards.
- Troubleshooting skills.
