The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $72,750 - $106,700 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will Do In This Role
- Develop and maintain Siemens PLC programs using TIA Portal (minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience required).
- Demonstrate a strong interest in and understanding of mechatronic systems and devices.
- Utilize Electrical CAD tools (such as AutoCAD Electrical) for design and documentation.
- Translate project contractual and technical requirements into actionable deliverables, including system design, layout, emulation, order entry, drawing preparation, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with established quality standards, processes, and best practices.
- Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve issues that may impact engineering tasks to prevent project delays.
- Execute assigned work packages within defined timelines and budget constraints, in alignment with Project Manager expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to validate third-party specifications and ensure completeness and accuracy of resale component requirements.
- Monitor and report engineering progress against project schedules.
- Prepare and present project status reports, including financial forecasts and schedule updates.
- Support risk management efforts by identifying, documenting, escalating, and mitigating potential risks.
- Lead technical design reviews and participate in post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Design electrical schematics and control panels in accordance with project requirements.
- Lead and execute commissioning activities for complex systems integrating both hardware and software components.
- Contribute innovative ideas to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Must be open to travel up to 40% to customer locations in the USA
What We Are Looking For
- BS/BA in electrical engineering or closely related field
- 2+ years of successful experience in related field.
- Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
- Demonstrates knowledge of organization's business practices and issues.
- Knowledgeable on AC drives, both open & closed loop.
- Experience in Ethernet IP network design
- Exceptional customer focus and ability to deliver results.
- Demonstrated problem solver with excellent communication skills.

Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field

- Experience in Ethernet/IP network design
