Job Summary:
Creates, examines and monitors contractual agreements for the organization. The Contract Specialist is accountable and responsible for assisting Senior Management with contract development and execution during all phases of the contract lifecycle as well as performs administrative and office support activities for one or multiple supervisors that include fielding telephone calls, receiving and directing visitors, computer processing, filing, and faxing. Through detailed analysis and investigation, the Contract Specialist will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contract management in a hospital environment. 

How you'll contribute: 

  • Manages the entire contracts/agreements process to ensure timely submission and renewal of all contracts and agreements that are compliant with applicable laws, rules and organizational requirements. 
  • Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications. 
  • Receives, screens, and routes visitors and telephone calls.
  • Responds to, escalates, and follows up on inquiries and problems as appropriate. 
  • Schedules/coordinates meetings, conferences, special events, appointments and travel arrangements. 
  • Maintains assigned calendar(s) for Senior Leadership Team. 
  • Maintain files and office equipment, and orders and stocks supplies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for:  

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a paralegal is preferred or knowledge of contracts.
