Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and maintains quality control objectives that maximize safety and compliance with company standards and regulations.

• Assists in designing, developing, and implementing quality programs and standards. Communicates quality standards and ensure the plant personnel’s adherence to quality programs.

• Identifies issues relating to products, processes, and quality. Collaborates with the team to resolve identified issues.

• Troubleshoots system-related issues with the quality system and provides product technical support to the plant quality team.

• Assists with preparation and provides support for internal and external quality audits.

• Assists colleagues with questions related to safety, programs, and compliance.

• Provides guidance and training to less experienced team members.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Typically possesses Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills

• Possesses knowledge or experience with quality assurance/control in a production setting.

• Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.

• Possesses strong project management skills.

• Ability to operate various types of testing equipment.

• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and ISO 9000 standards is a plus.

• Quality/engineering certifications are a plus.

• Travel may be required.
