What is Your Role?CapitalMD helps elite physicians turn their expertise into influence, opportunities, and meaningful income beyond clinical practice. As Founding Content Lead, you’ll own the exceptional content driving physician opportunities.
You will:
Create Exceptional Physician Content: Own our content engine end-to-end. Interview physicians, uncover the ideas and stories that make them interesting, and turn their expertise into exceptional thought leadership. Build the workflows, tools, and editorial standards that allow us to do this at scale.
Set Industry Standards: Constant analysis, iteration, and testing of content. New styles, angles, and channels develop CapitalMD into the best-in-class medical content provider.
Manage the Team: Onboard and manage an AI-forward content team. Recruit, train, and develop rising stars who are obsessed with medical, scientific, and technical content and help them grow into content leaders.
Build CapitalMD: We’re early. Help build the systems, playbooks, AI workflows, and new ideas that allow us to serve hundreds and eventually thousands of physicians. This is an entrepreneurial role - we want your authorship in what CapitalMD becomes.
We’re looking for an entrepreneurial content person and exceptional operator early in their career.
2–4 years of experience, ideally across content, startups, agencies, healthcare, marketplaces, creator/talent, or other fast-moving environments.
Exceptional storyteller and writer. You’re curious, ask great questions, have strong editorial taste, and can make complex ideas compelling. LinkedIn content experience is a must!
Great with people. You build trust quickly and can confidently manage relationships with accomplished physicians and business leaders.
Highly organized and action-oriented. You can manage lots of moving pieces, follow through relentlessly, and make things happen.
Entrepreneurial and AI-native. You love blank canvases, move quickly, use modern tools to create leverage, and want to help build a company from the ground up.
Low ego, high ownership. No task is beneath you, and you care more about the outcome than who gets credit.

Skills Required
- 2–4 years of experience, ideally in content, startups, agencies, healthcare, marketplaces, creator or talent environments, or other fast-moving settings.
- Exceptional storytelling and writing ability, including strong editorial judgment and the ability to make complex ideas compelling.
- Ability to build trust quickly and manage relationships with accomplished physicians and business leaders.
- Highly organized, action-oriented, and able to manage multiple moving pieces while following through reliably.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort using modern tools and AI to create leverage.
- Low-ego, high-ownership approach with willingness to handle varied responsibilities.
