About the Role:
GoodRx is seeking a Content Marketing Intern to join our team for Summer 2026. This role is designed for a researcher and analyst who loves to dive deep and distill data and trends into actionable insights. Working closely with the Content & Engagement Marketing Manager and Lead Content Strategist, you will keep your finger on the pulse of all things social, especially health-tech, pulling trends, identifying competitive gaps and how to leverage those in our content. By the end of the internship, you will be an expert at turning analysis into a compelling narrative and advocating for how GoodRx’s content strategy can evolve and stand out in a crowded field.
Responsibilities:
Regularly research and surface trends in the organic social landscape for potential content creation
Audit competitors’ (existing, new, and potential) organic social content and performance
Create a matrix of GoodRx’s content pillars to use in competitor analysis
Analyze competitor content using matrix, identifying differences in strategy, execution, and performance trends
Synthesize findings into recurring insights reports, highlighting key learnings and recommendations
Deliver a final presentation summarizing competitive insights and strategic recommendations to inform content planning
Support the team on ad-hoc projects and social campaigns as needed
Skills:
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
A deep curiosity for organic social media, specifically Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LinkedIn
Strong research and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations
Highly motivated and flexible; you have the ability to prioritize proactively and pivot into different projects as needs evolve
Excellent communication and writing skills, adept at distilling complex analysis into a compelling narrative
Previous internship experience or familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Sprinklr) and Google Workspace is a plus
Basic Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor degree, to which you will return in Fall 2026.
Expected Graduation date between May 2027 - June 2028
Able to commit to full time internship program for 12 weeks during summer of 2026
Preferred location: Hybrid in Santa Monica
Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation for undergraduate interns is $22.00 per hour
Medical, dental, and vision benefits are available to interns throughout the duration of the internship
