What We'll Bring:

The focus of this role is to develop relationships with key stakeholders, understand and analyse their concerns and then work with those stakeholders to propose solutions that meet the underlying needs within the technical, architectural and financial constraints of the business intelligence team

What You'll Bring:

Qualifications:

  • Degree level or equivalent business experience
  • Must have at least 5 years total information technology experience
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience using data analytics & visualization tools (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau)

Skills:

  • Must have a passion for data analytics.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Data Warehouse technologies, SQL, Alteryx, Excel, Tableau, PowerBI
  • Intermediate experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports
  • Intermediate experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Testing experience is required.
  • Modern development practices such as Agile, source control, coding standards for example
  • Plans, organizes, and maneuvers obstacles to deliver results.
  • Problem solving skills to identify root cause and permanent resolution.
  • Must be fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels including the senior management.
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Manages time, responsibilities, and multiple priorities effectively.
  • Passion for quality excellence, methodical, thorough and diligent
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to perform on a team or with minimal supervision.
  • Engage with business and technical teams to drive consensus.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead diverse teams of varying sizes.
  • Must be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Exhibit accountability & Proactivity in all engagements.

Experience:

  • Intermediate experience in designing and developing Dashboards / MIS / Reports
  • Intermediate experience in integrating the dashboard with Databases.
  • Hands on Experience with Power BI or Alteryx is must.
  • Salesforce knowledge is bonus.

Impact You'll Make:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with members of the business to develop reporting which describe the key metrics for Global Salesforce reporting, TransUnion UK, progress against TU UK strategy and product performance.
  • Ensuring a single version of the truth for all metrics and key performance indicators used across TransUnion UK
  • Manage the future development and exploitation of the existing reporting suite.
  • Continuously Optimize reports, processes, and procedures for scale and efficiency
  • Analyse Data trends and turn complex data into actionable insights and reports.
  • Proactively identifying visualization needs and partnering with data engineering to ensure implementation.
  • Consistently refine our data visualization practices giving users the best experience possible

Key Tasks:

  • Feeding requirements to the Business Intelligence development team so that the data warehouse contains the data needed to support the Business.
  • Document processes, business use cases & design ERD’s.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that reduce the need of manual reporting and automate key functions.
  • Utilise the data warehouse to bring data-driven insight into TU UK & Global BI decision making.
  • Collaborate with Global Stakeholders & TU UK Stakeholders to meet their reporting needs.
  • Present regular updates on key organizational metrics and KPIs
  • Participate in quality assurance to ensure products are fit for purpose.
  • Peer reviews the work of colleagues.
  • Help migrate users’ homegrown data visualization applications to enterprise standard.
  • Adhere to department procedures and practices, including coding standards, build processes, source control and Agile development process

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
