The Compliance Specialist will support AHEAD's compliance function by working with internal and external stakeholders, managing compliance projects, implementing compliance programs, and assisting with data privacy audits while minimizing risks.

AHEAD is currently seeking a Compliance Specialist to help build out the compliance function and provide counseling to AHEAD’s sales team and stakeholders. You will report to AHEAD’s Corporate Counsel, Compliance. This is a remote role.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal stakeholders as well as customers, vendors, and regulators, as necessary;
- Manage compliance-related projects for current and evolving laws and obligations;
- Assist in designing, implementing, and managing effective compliance programs;
- Assist with the preparation of compliance reports for senior management and regulatory agencies;
- Assist with data privacy related requests and audits, as necessary; and
- Assess and minimize sources of risk, with appropriate escalations as necessary.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of U.S. data privacy laws (CCPA, CPRA, TCPA) and experience with GDPR;
- Experience interacting with or working for government agencies;
- Expertise in drafting and reviewing a broad range of policies;
- Expertise in Microsoft tools, including PowerPoint and Excel;
- Project or program management experience;
- Strong analytical skills and verbal and written communication skills; and
- Excellent business judgment, attention to detail, and self-motivation.
